Summary

Leaking showers can cause more damage than most people expect, especially when water finds its way behind old tiles. For this Mill Valley home, we were called in to address a failing shower pan and refresh worn tile work that had become a source of concern.

The Work

Removed the bottom section of shower walls, floor, and curb
Installed new preslope, shower pan liner, and replaced drain
Performed a 24-hour flood test before new tile installation
Retiled and grouted the shower floor, bottom rows of walls, and curb
Sealed grout and reinstalled the shower door

The Outcome

The shower now has a solid, waterproof base and a fresh new look that blends seamlessly with the rest of the bathroom. With the grout sealed and the door reinstalled, the space is ready for daily use without the worry of leaks or future water damage.
