A bathroom update can bring new life to a home, especially when the shower needs more than just a cosmetic lift. This project involved a full rebuild of a stall shower, requiring both plumbing changes and new tile installation to resolve outdated fixtures and water management concerns.

The Work

Removed drywall in the closet area to access plumbing and replaced it after work was complete
Installed a new two-way shower valve, raised the shower head, and added a handheld shower head
Built a new shower pan with a reinforced mortar slope and installed a new drain, followed by a full flood test
Tiled and grouted the shower walls and floor, sealed all grout, and repaired tile where needed

The Outcome

The stall shower now features clean lines, improved plumbing, and a watertight tile surface. With the grout sealed and fixtures updated, the space is ready for daily use and looks refreshed. The improved drainage and waterproofing add peace of mind for the homeowner.
